Hi - congrats on your almost-home baby! On the food, it should be balanced properly if it's AAFCO certified and from Honest Kitchen. I prefer higher protein diets, rather than a higher carb diet.
On the rabies - I try to wait until 6mths of age or so. And no, I would not get the kennel cough vaccine...it's not a core vaccine.
