Thank you for the research links and feedback everyone - I think I will indeed try it. Seems like it can't hurt, and if it helps her relax it will improved her life a ton. I love that she always wants to be close to me, but I I want her to feel secure and safe when I am away too. And with her sassy streak toward kids I just can't tote her everywhere. We have a week long trip coming up in Aug and I am totally stressing...I have the dog sitter reserved, but I a thinking about having a friend stay at my house instead so Maggie is atleast in her own home. But thats a convo for a different thread
