He went to school with my usual vet and they have the same calm knowing demeanor that makes me trust them. Plus he's got a Texan accent and I love men with Texan accents. And he didn't seem at all bothered with fanning me for twenty minutes either. Very nice man. He also told me that from what he could tell izzys collapsing trachea hasn't progressed . We'd have to do X-rays to know for sure but when he did something with her throat she didn't cough at all. That was a relief too. I think just the thought of something going wrong sent me into anxiety. I couldn't stand it if I lost one right now. I'd be one sad chicken.
Always good to have a vet you trust and like. A lot of dogs who get ct don't have it progress and it stays the same. A regular X-ray won't pick up ct though it has to be a special one and it has to be done when she's having an episode.
