This will take time for Lola to get used to and accept the puppy. Puppies are extremely friendly and can overwhelm an older dog even as young as 2 years. If the puppy were yours and they saw each other on a daily basis and you were with Lola and the puppy and petted and loved on Lola and the puppy together and they slowly got used to each other one day Lola would just accept the new little one. I say this from just a little experience I have had in much the same way but both were my own dog. I don't know how possible it is for the two of them to see a lot of each other but I think this is the best and only way for them to become friends. This is just my opinion of course as I am hardly an expert. Best of luck with getting the two of them acquainted and becoming friends.
