Indeed, Taylor did say that - I was just trying to clarify so the OP might circumvent any issues when she travels. Many of us are trying to keep the ESD issue from being re-addressed and possibly downgraded. Because of the increase in legal challenges many want it to be reassessed. And....many on that board are being urged not to change it as it is a real need. The airlines are driving some of the discontent in that area of the law. Most of us are working behind the scenes to get the ESD laws moved to the ADA laws (and away from the Fair Housing laws) to give it more power.
Unfortunately ADA works behind the door a lot of the time, but fortunately the wheelchair bound folks help monitor what is going on. Things don't get very "advertised" in that area.
California is one of a growing number of states who have tried to add their own Service Dog criteria to the ADA criteria in an effort to control the fraud issues. This will no doubt be the next battle for disabled folks. The military have fought a hard hard battle with the PTSD community and in that battle the ESD piece has gotten more challenges that have been detrimental to it - as a by product.
