I waited until 7-8 months for the spay to give the retained canines (upper and lower) time to fall out on their own. The lower ones eventually did. She has a longer jaw, and the upper ones weren't even crowded and weren't budging, so I figured they weren't going to come out naturally and went ahead with the spay then. I think you are OK to wait a bit more.
