So why are you asking me? If you're trying to walk me into an argument, please just stop. If you believe your vet, then far be it from me to tell you to disbelieve. I'll say this though....the causes of IBD are not well understood in dogs. There are "theories" and if your vet has a theory about your dog, then maybe that vet is right about YOUR dog's probable cause of IBD. The last ACVIM consensus about IBD was that there are hard and fast rules about the causes.
