I have always placed those 6#+ larger yorkies in families with kids.....Cowboy is the largest "throwback" I have ever had and wont be breeding his pappa again.......they make GREAT dogs for kids.....and while Cowboy is a bit big for a elder, he and his size are good for people that want a yorkie because of personality, etc, but are afraid of a small dog they may trip over!
