Can't you ask for one but have her hold the puppy till its older? A few more weeks shouldn't be such a big deal, in the scheme of things if its giving the puppy a better start. But, the way you described it, you are probably right..you do at least know what to do and what to look for, so a puppy would be in loving care...but, I would still try to get her to keep your puppy a bit longer....that would be the best for all of you. |
