Again - I totally agree with a lot of you.

Dogs are wonderful loving pets - but they are not people.

There are places that are very appropriate to take our dogs to - and let's enjoy these places with our little pets.

It is rude, inconsiderate, and totally not responsible to take our little guys into places where they are not allowed. It just isn't mature or responsible. This is the sort of behavior that I would expect from teenagers or younger children --- and many of these are very socially responsible and would never deliberately break a law or ignore a regulation. (I especially can't understand those of us who think it is cute and funny to sneak our dogs into places they aren't allowed). Part of becoming an adult is learning to become socially responsible and obeying existing laws and regulations. Though we may question some regulations, they are generally made for our own health and safety, and we should abide by them.

Why have laws and regulations if people feel they have the right to follow only those that they are comfortable with or agree with. What a world this might become!!!!

My Yorkie (and other dog) aren't my babies. They are my wonderful little pets. I love them very much and don't take them anywhere they shouldn't be or aren't allowed. There are many many places we can go - and these are the places where we spend our time.
