Service dogs have to meet strict training and health guidelines and the agency ensures they are up-to-date on their shots. So when a service dog -- which is allowed by federal law to enter establishments -- comes into a store, it is known they are current on vaccines and healthy.
Maybe the wording the manager used wasn't correct but it is true that he would be in serious trouble for having a pet in his store -- and all it would take is for one shopper to call the health department and say there was a pet in the grocery store. When there's a report, there has to be an investigation. |
Being the thickheaded woman that I am, I am going to acknowledge your response, but am not going to respond. I refuse to be like others and have a battle on YT. You have your opinions, I have mine. I still don't understand how a pet who has a disease or what have you can infect food, but whatever. I responded to you before b/c I didn't like how it seemed that you made me out to be a person that may not agree with seeing eye dogs, and that's not the case. So, peace out.
