 Tail talk......
How do you do your Yorkie's tail? I know the long coats normally have long hair on the tail too but I wanted to show how we do the boys. We trim the tail hair in a wedge from the tip to the base. Since the top of the tail isn't shaved like it would be in a short haircut it still blends in with a longer coat. Jo's tail is a bit longer than Riley's so his looks a little different but I think they both look cute and keeping them clean isn't a problem with it trimmed this way. Keep in mind that these boys don't stay still very long so the pictures aren't the greatest but what do you think? |
