I think if more people were to break windows to save pets maybe it would get people to open there eyes and stop doing it. Prescriptions can be dropped off at one of the million pharmacy's with a drive-thru. If you need a coke or a bottle of water most liquor stores with a drive-thru will sell you that or you can take your dog with you to a machine. I don't think there is any reason to leave your dog in the car and in the 70's in my opinion it's to hot. I think we need better laws in almost everything that has to do with our beloved dogs and this is one of those areas we need better laws. We need signs in parking lots that say don't do it, we need fines, we need a number on those signs to call. Not everyone knows what to do when they see a dog locked in a hot car.
