Just remind your family members that if that is really what they feel is right, that you will be waiting with rifle in hand for the day when one of them gets sick. Maybe a little perspective will right what is obviously a rectal/cranial inversion.
In the meantime, as long as there wouldn't be legal repercussions, I would set about finding the right vet to come to you and do the right thing. If you could keep it on the down low, you could have the dog put to sleep and just tell them it expired naturally. |
