Does your family give you a reason? I don't get why they feel so firm on this, what is the reasoning here?

Want to know what I would do, if I were you? Honestly, I'd contact or go to my Vet's office and tell them what's going on here -- I'd ask if there was any type of medication they could dispense to you so that you coul (sadly/tragically) basically "overdose" your dog easily, smoothly, safely while at home. I do not know that there *is* such a med that they could recommend and dispense to you...but it's what I'd be asking about if it were me in this sad situation.

Another thing I'd be considering if it were me, is just bringing this sweet doggie to the Vet's office without my family's knowledge, and just taking care of things myself - bc it's the RIGHT THING to do, at the end of the day (for me, that is).
