And GM knew about its ignition switch problem for at least 10 years and an AP article I read said that GM will be compensating 97 families for death of a family member & 179 for family member injuries over those years with millions of cars affected. Then I think about the corporations like those in coal mining who wouldn't spend the $ to keep their mines safe as possible while thousands of men - fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, etc., died horribly, some hopelessly trapped in the dark for hours, knowing no one could get to them in time. Those men died in those mines to produce a product that was sold for profit to people to heat their homes and businesses. Are those corporations' indifferences any better than Blue Bell's? Lots of corporate misdeeds in producing a product for sale in our history books and news cycles to make you realize boycotting a single company might punish them but lets a lot of others off the hook altogether.
