I wonder what the incidence is among yorkies because at least anecdotally, it doesn't seem to be one in 3. I have to take a look at these links, but, I am already wondering if type of cancer is iifentified. Unaltered females have high instances of mammary tumors but that cancer is preventable. Skin cancers like melanoma are easily removed and not generally metastatic in older dogs yet could be slanting the %.
