Just wanted to post a reminder to check between the pads of your babies paws and to remember to trim the hair there. I was bathing Callie and Sammy today and went to wash Sammy's paw and something felt weird between the pads of his paw but I couldn't see it and check it out well in the tub so I checked it when he was dry. I could not figure out what it was because he would jerk his paw away and would not let me look. Well I tried with my mom helping and no luck. My dad was able to look and said he felt like it was a mat but before just cutting it he wanted to make sure so he gently used a comb and got it where he could cut it and it was really big. It looks like when he decided to dig the other day that maybe dirt caked in the hair making it mat easier. It could not have been comfortable. So just remember to check those little paws!
