If he just started doing this then maybe he has something medically wrong with him that's causing him pain at night. I know with my children they always hurt more at night. Not trying to make you feel guilty, but it's strange he just started doing it. My pup cried from the first night we got him for 2 weeks when we put him in a crate. My husband goes to bed at 9:00PM and gets up at 2:AM. When he finally did settle down for bed, he'd start wailing again at 2:00AM when my husband got up. I decided just to let him sleep with us. It was better for our situation and now I look forward to him sleeping with me. My husband was against dogs sleeping with us and none ever have. He's the one that suggested it. Does your husband know they don't shed?
