I'd be happy if I were you
There are 2 reasons I say this...mainly your mom must be very kind to her, and she trusts her. Thus if you need a baby sitter you dont have to worry, lol. The second is more important really. I've managed to really create a mommy's baby. It was cute at first but now she's got a real jealous streak with people and other dogs. She just does not want me to touch anyone else. If my attention is too focused on someone else, she gets really clingy. I got some suggestions from a friend on this site, and its helping but, I do want her to be friendly and able to play and have fun with other people and dogs besides me! Shes fun with me, but it doesn't always show up when my family or friends come over.
One thing I know though from every dog I've ever had and that is, they know who feeds them and loves them and cares for them. They may "cheat" a little when someone interesting comes around, but when the chips are down...they always know who "mommy" is
