I always use US Post Office and I save money by shipping from home. The mail man picks it up right from my home. I print my label right from my home printer. You need the weight or just estimate it. The most I've ever paid for an GE saw 26 and some change. It helps to keep your box under 12 x12 x 12. IF not you can always mail 2 small boxes.

That's my problem, my item requires a large box so I can't do the two smaller ones, but you're right, about every 6" in length the rate goes up by about 10.00. My box is 24"
