Hi this is my first post!

I have a 5 month old boy and most of his baby teeth have fallen out except the 4 canines. The adult ones are coming in beside them and I wiggle them everyday but they don't seem to be coming out.

My vet said he'd pull them at the time I get him neutered (less times anesthesia and such) but then I learned they were charging $230 for neutering. I'm eligible for free spay/neuter from the city b/c I'm a college student, but I'm not sure if they'll do tooth extractions. My questions are:

1) for any of you that had your baby's teeth pulled at a different time than the spay/neuter, how much does it cost?

2) are they able to pull baby teeth without general anesthesia? (Im looking for safer alternatives, local anesthesia etc.)

if the city (Richmod SPCA) won't pull his teeth at the same time as neuter I'll have to find a vet to do it. But I really want to avoid having him under 2 times. However cost is also an issue and free neuter vs. $230 is a big deal. The vet is great for everything else but I think he's overcharging for this!
