I can have Teek chipped on Saturday for $15 at a mobile vet at Pet Sense. I would take him to his normal vet but I am not about to pay $60 to have him chipped when my last dog cost $20 at the vet's office for the same procedure.

I meant to have it done last month at the mobile vet, but I did a 5K that day and came home and fell asleep and missed the time they were there.

I worry about the bleeding part though as I hate to see anything happen to my little guy, but I would seriously hate to lose him even more than that. Chipping is so good because it does increase your chances of getting them back if they are lost. It also can prove ownership if you think someone has your dog and the police can have animal control check for a chip and see if it is your dog. With as many Yorkies are stolen I do worry about that, of course Teek is never away from me so good luck to anyone who tries to steal him. They would probably bring him back because he misses me so much. LOL
