I am in a fight with myself, Jack's hair is getting long, and when I brush him he looks like a raggamuffin 5 minutes later. I would like to get a puppy cut for him for the summer, but I am not sure if he is too young, 6 months, and if I should wait another month or two. He is very active and goes for walks, we live in the country so his hair picks up every leaf etc.
What are your views on this. Cut or not to cut?
Plus, the lady that I bought Jack from told me to wait until he was at least 6 months old to register him, so I could see what color he was going to be, but some other owners say it is a year or more before they get their final coloring. Any ideas on this?
