The choice for me breeder over rescue comes from our lifestyle. Some rescues have criteria and I know we wouldn't meet those. And also I have a child, so I believe that if you raise from puppyhood it's better for children (i do know that's not always the case) but it's worked for us.

I do think people look at me crazy when I say I looked for a breeder but it's my money, my choices and none of their business.
