As long as you have done your research and get a pup from a reputable breeder. You should not feel bad about it. I am proud that I got Galen that way ! . . . I have also adopted from shelter. My Saber is from a shelter. Bottom line is . . . This pup is going to be yours. You are taking care of him. Do what is best for you and your family. Never let someone make you feel guilty.
