Hi,
So how is your Ruger doing? Congratulations on getting your new Yorkie. When I got my Joey I was also concerned about leaving him alone as he was so tiny. I got him also when he was about 12 weeks old. I have a large metal pen and I put everything in it for him,his bed and water and toys and potty papers. I ended up just leaving him alone sometimes for a couple hours and he did fine then. He was protected in his pen and had all he needed but I was nervous of course and was always eager to get back home to him but he was always fine. Now he is almost 5 and he has a fit when I do leave and a fit when I come home. I still leave him in his pen because he would run out the door after me when I left and when I got home and brought all the groceries in the house so he is best left in his pen. If the size of his poo concerns you I would ask your vet. I have no idea what to tell you about that. Hope you do well with your new baby and welcome to Yorkie Talk.
