Good idea licking water off her fingers. Gadget's cute but hopefully ya'll can find something easy to roll off MIL's tongue.
Her teeth could be preventing her from eating anything but soft food and much pain can rob a dog of appetite. Has MIL scheduled her vet visit to get her teeth checked since she could be in pain?
