I don't feel comfortable recommending dosages - quick absorbing calcium can be a lifesaver literally if a dog gets eclampsia, can prevent C-sections, can help to get a distressed puppy out quicker BUT if given when a puppy is malpresented (laying across birth canal), two puppies at once, pelvis not wide enough to pass puppy, it can cause the uterus to burst, if given the wrong amount it can literally stop a heart, but I do recommend having it, but talk to your vet on the when to use, how much to use, etc.
Maybe another breeder has more experience than I and will chime in on their recommendations. The oral syringe will come with dosages though. |
