Your posts are so familiar to me when Tink was first diagnosed. The waiting, the stress, the feeling of complete hopelessness. Unfortunately, her issue is a form of cancer, but I am devoted to doing anything for her and keeping her happy.
It's so apparent Sophie has a mommy who will do anything for her, and I'm sure she is a spoiled, perfect little girl. I will keep you and Miss Sophie in my prayers

I am so sorry about your little one, she is lucky to have you as her mom. This place is so helpful for so many reasons and one of them is that this is the one place I can go and I know people won't criticize me for spending too much or doing too much for her. When you love them and they are your baby, you do anything you can! I will keep you and Tink in my thoughts!

I have been cuddling with her all night. She has a small appetite but I am trying to go easy on the food with her, but she did have a huge drink and pee when we came home. She has eaten a grand total of 4 of the I/D kibbles, so as long as she continues to like it and it works well for her, we are going to stick with it. She smells so bad and looks so gross tonight, but she is getting groomed on Saturday (vet okayed it) so I don't want to stress her out too much right now. I nicknamed her Stink Bug for a reason!

I will be back when we get the results. I am just so happy right now and I promised her all the belly rubs she could imagine tonight! I am hoping she will want to eat tomorrow, but I know I need to give her a few days to get back into things and switched over to the food. The vet told us with her issues to just do a straight swap because she hasn't eaten any of her old kibble since Sunday, but has been on the canned I/D.

I attached a picture of her that I took just after I got home. I know she is not the cleanest looking but she had a long week - she was so exhausted that she had a quick snack and climbed up her little stairs onto the bed and slept like a log for awhile!
