My Grand-dogter is on a hydrolized protein diet for her sensitive gut. That and she has Vitamin B shots once a week. They said she has like an irritable bowel problem. Since she has been on this prescription food and the shots she has been doing great, even though she has recently gone through a very distressing emotional time in the loss of her main person. Amazingly she seems happy to eat the same food all the time.
