My LG has a feature that you can have it use more water by just a press of a button. They don't put a light in the washer, so you can leave the door open between uses to allow it to dry, but I have never had to do that. There is no smell. The Maytag Neptune always had that problem, but the LG does not. If I am concerned about anything dirty, I use a prewash cycle first. I wash my silks in my washer, Katie's cashmere sweaters, and many other delicate items. Even when I've accidentally used a small amount of bleach, it's so evenly distributed in the water, my clothes are always fine. I've had a front loader for so many years that I don't know how the newer top loaders work without the agitators, but I'm sure they are also great. |
