I have a LG washer and dryer, not the same model you are looking at. They are almost a year old. I have had two problems:

1. Bubba was scared to death of the sound the water made when starting rinse cycles, a hissing like sound. He has since gotten over it.

2. Mine is a top loader and i am 5'2". After the wash ends it is very difficult for me to reach small things in the bottom of the washer (even on tip toe). So, if you are short like me, before you purchase go to the store and reach in to see if you can reach to the bottom.

Otherwise, I love them.
