I got the Samsung French door, freezer on the bottom, only because the reviews I read seemed to all complain of it being more noisy, especially the ice maker. My only complaint with my fridge is I wish the ice was crushed into finer pieces.....that is how I get my water, by eating crushed ice and the crushed ice is a little hunky.....I was thinking it would be like the ice machine at the hospital......THAT was crushed ice!!!

Thank you Lacys Mom for the great info you posted about your machines...and for sharing the website....did they do "white glove service", ie set it up for you? I am so excited over this new washer and dryer....my old one has served me so well but it is 14 years old and it just is not large enough...it takes me all day to wash, because I can only put 6 of these Egyptian cotton towels in at one time or it strips the gears! And the spin cycle.....well lets just say the machine is trying to escape through the laundry window....WAY beyond "out of balance" and that is with carefully arranging and frequently re-arranging the clothes being washed...
Laughing out loud by your description of your washing machine with more than 6 Egyptian cotton towels in it. Sounds like my old washing machine which my mom had passed on to me years ago and the thing just lasted FOREVER but, oh, it hated any lopsided or heavy loads. Just stripped its gears and I never knew how to describe the agonized convulsions it had until I read your description - THAT'S IT!!!! Sadly, it's gone to the washing machine Rainbow Bridge now and I have a new one, which manages to handle heavy loads without all the drama.

Congrats on your matching new pair of laundry workers! They sound fab!
