It's hard to see in the pics, but they're already on little rectangular trellises (see picture below, this is from the back), which is holding everything in place. My plan is to keep them trimmed so I can keep them there at the entrance like that, but we'll see how they go. I can always put them in the ground if they get to be too much. They're even prettier in person!

I have some herbs in a windowsill, but this would look so much better. Also was thinking it could work if the house was right, for a place to drop keys or dog leashes by the door. |
