Ugh - sorry about the lying flat part - that makes the whole thing double bad. Poor kid. I imagine the meds they gave him have worked together to give him some rebound effect and kind of hyped him some. One night after a sedation during a test I came home and felt so anxious I could barely sit still and was awake all that night - sort of a rebound effect of agitation maybe.

I know the wait is going to be gruesome until you know what is causing his vision loss and start treatment, find a path forward. All I can say is hold him tight when he will let you, make him his favorite foods, rent his favorite movies/audio books and pray over him and with him. Prayers continuing here in Texas for that dear son of yours.
