 Puppy is on the mend.
I got word that she is on the mend, and doing much better. Although they are waiting for a report as to tick bite infection (she wasn't outside and we don't have ticks in the winter months in my are), I believe that report will come back negative. The specialist is looking at her initial 5 way puppy shot as to what brought on the immune disorder. I've never dealt with such an issue before. I am a small hobby breeder with maybe 2 litters per year. I am more than a little freaked out by this entire situation and need to know how this occurred. I have, of course, already decided not to breed this girl's mother again. She is out of Ch. Hylan Acres lines and never had a moment's health issue in her life. Thanks. |
