Advantix was the only thing working for ticks even then we were getting a few. I'm not saying you or your vet are wrong at all. I just have that old mind set from the bad collars that everyone drilled into everyone that were bad and I just don't know that it would work well in my situation. I feel nexguard it's the best and safest option for us and worth the money. I'm not downing what your using or what your vet is saying I'm just sharing my opinion and situation. Everyone's situation is different.
