It is expensive but so was Advantix. I got a $50 rebate for getting 12 heartguard and then 6 nexguard. I'm just not comfortable with the collar. I just worry because I have such sensative skin, I live with two seniors and I just am stuck on not being comfortable with them in all honesty lol. All the topicals made Callie act sickish for 24 hours and I could not get my grandpa to remember not to touch it and it always stayed greasy until she took a bath. We have never had a flea issues and ticks haven't been to bad since we moved so I'm pretty happy with it and it's worth the money to me. There are a couple of months I didn't use it like January and February.
