They rescheduled the spinal tap for Monday as long as he doesn't have a fever for 2 days. My son has decided he wants to learn to play guitar since it is something he's always wanted to do and he is having trouble sleeping and concentrating so he thinks this would help him take his mind off of things. I took him yesterday and we picked it out, along with the needed accessories. We also found an instructor that will be able to teach him as he isn't able to see what he's doing. Unfortunately the guitar won't be here for a week (the only one in stock was damaged) but it's something for him to look forward to. I know this seems trivial but I'm just happy he has shown an interest in something and isn't contemplating "ending it."
Thank you to everyone again...I can feel your thoughts and prayers as the days progress. It is still difficult but I'm feeling calmer and more positive. I'm hoping for good news after the spinal tap...although at this point I'm not sure what the good news could be...I'm still praying for it. |
