If the same leg broke again though I would think they would not cover it, you know how insurance companies are! You could ask your vet or even call the insurance of your choice and check. They will want medical records from your vet, so they will know about it.

It was a year ago a day after I brought him home... Long story but I didn't have time to even think about insurance and he needed surgery which cost in total over $3000... Anyway he's fine now and healed well... It's been a year since it happened. But I've done research and the orthopedic surgeon also stated that it could break again. I went with pets best insurance. They state that if the leg has been treated and healed that they would cover the expenses if it was injured again. But you never know what they will say when claim time comes!
