Poor Andy he sure has been through the mill with surgeries and hope this is IT!
It seems that you have experience of complex post op nursing, and I am sure that will help you through this one. I wish I had those skills, as nowadays hospitals dont keep you in too long after surgery. I wonder how people who aren't good nurses manage?
Happy that he was in good spirits tonight and he must be looking forward to his comfortable home bed tomorrow.
