First, you must be so excited and I remember back to that day for me.
I don't think the transition will be difficult. Yes, wait until she is fully vaccinated and then you may be happy she is used to a pad if you ever have a winter like we just did.
I would wipe the grass in the spot you want her to go each time you go out with her pad that has the scent of her urine. Do this a few times until she catches on. Good Luck!
