Often! What Jodi mentioned above is so true. People don't deal with it...they get rid of the older pup ... it goes to a shelter or is surrendered to rescue....IF it is lucky that is. Many are found wandering the streets. It is usually after it gets out of control. Not when just one happens to be enlarged.
