My guess is you have never dealt with mammary tumors in dogs. It is not something I would intentionally expose a dog to. About 50% of them are benign...so does that mean it is ok ? The bottom line is that a simple spay before the first heat puts the risk at almost nothing.
Hard for me to grasp your thinking on this. If it were your body, would you want someone to put you at that risk? I know that may sound stupid to some, but I really do think that more people should think about whether they would put themselves in the same position as they would a dog.
We are not talking about vision and hearing changes here.
