We have had it for the last 5 years and most years we break even but in 2014 we really benefited since she had to have her Dentals and she had 3 Sebaceous Cysts removed. bill came to $864 and I was reimbursed approximately $700.
Yearly the cost for her coverage is approximately $500 but it covers all wellness exams, shots, heartworm and flea preventative. It works as a supplemental insurance meaning it pays back a set amount (kind of like human dental insurance).
I cannot imagine being without it for any of my pets, I also had a plan for my late cat and it paid for a lot of his test and treatment for his Kidney Cancer. |
Thank you for sharing. Mikkis dental, shots, exam etc was close to $400 when we went. It adds up fast. Also on ours the wellness plan pays for prescription dog food. Rosie is on I/D and it covers it every time. And that expense adds up very quickly.
