Hi all,
I am pleased to join this forum after sneaking in and reading conversations all over. The advice and funny stories have allowed me to go ahead and adopt a 3 year old yorkie

(and this breed wasn't even my first option when looking to adopt, it was poodles). But, I finally chose Sassy, a quiet loving girl who follows you around. I haven't even completed the adoption process yet, still have to do the home visit first. But, I anticipate no problems. I am looking for advice on how to introduce her to my home and family (a grandmother and my dad). I heard that the first few days are essential in terms of structure and obedience.
Thanks all,
