This is an older post, but I am fairly new here. My mother has a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix (that is what they think he is anyway). He looks like a Shih Tzu though. He is 12 years old and he is a total clown. She has had him since he was left behind at a campground when he was about 6 months old. The campground kept him for a month and no one called to see if there dog was there so they adopted him out and my mom got him.
I just got a 9 year old Yorkie in January and I take him to my mom's house all the time and the two of them get along great. They got along right from the first time they met. It might help that they are both older, I don't know. I am just glad they get along so well so that I can take Teek over there and Bobby puts up with him well.
