Teek was 9 years old when I got him and they had gotten him as a puppy so he knew that was his name. I think he thought that if he had that name he might be going back to them or something. I changed his name and it was like he knew he was spending the rest of his life with me. |
I'm soo glad Teek is with you now. Poor thing, I'm guessing he got into trouble and associates his old name with negativity.
