This might be an odd suggestion, but if your furbaby has decently shorter hair I actually use the brush/comb made for human babies. My Kimchi tolerates the one for pets but I can tell she doesn't like it as it feel a bit rough (at least the more plushy bristley part, the wire, wide bristle side she doesn't mind). I use the human baby brush and she loves it cause it's so soft. It's not best on harder tangles and I'll alternate with the baby comb using short, slow, gentle strokes. Cause I keep her hair fairly short and it's very soft, using these works pretty good. ^^ I actually managed to video her during one of our brushing sessions awhile back using the baby brush that I'll probably post later on.
